GENERAL TOUR FAQ

What types of tours do you offer?

We offer both private tours and small group tours that start from Surabaya and Malang. Private tours are our most popular option because travelers get full flexibility with timing, stops, and pacing. Group tours are available on selected dates and are great for people who want to meet new friends or travel on a budget. Both options cover the same destinations, including Mount Bromo, Tumpak Sewu, and Ijen Crater.

Most of our tours are private, which means you have your own car, driver, and guide. Private tours allow you to adjust the schedule, stop for photos anytime, and move at your own pace. We occasionally offer group departures for Bromo, but these are limited. If you prefer a private experience, it’s available every day.

Our tours typically include all transportation, including a private car, fuel, parking, tolls, and a dedicated driver also entrance tickets. You also get an English-speaking guide who assists you throughout the trip. Pick-up and drop-off from Surabaya or Malang are included. We design the tours to be hassle-free so you don’t have to arrange anything on your own.

Yes. Every tour comes with a friendly English-speaking guide. They help with navigation, photography, safety, and sharing local knowledge. If you need additional languages, we can arrange that in advance.

MOUNT BROMO FAQ

What time does the Bromo sunrise tour start?

Most sunrise tours begin with pick-up around 00:30–02:00 AM from Surabaya or Malang, depending on your location. This allows enough travel time to reach the viewpoint before sunrise.

Mount Bromo weather can change quickly. Sunrise is usually clear during the dry season (April–October). During rainy season, the view may be cloudy, but many mornings still offer great visibility. Unfortunately, sunrise clarity cannot be guaranteed—but even on cloudy days, Bromo’s landscape is still incredible.

The walk to the crater is moderate and beginner-friendly. You’ll hike about 1 km on flat terrain, then climb around 250 steps to reach the crater rim. Take your time—your guide will assist you.

Yes—Jeep fees are included in most Bromo sunrise packages unless stated otherwise. We use licensed Jeep operators from the Bromo Tengger Semeru area.

MOUNT IJEN FAQ

What do we need to prepare for the Ijen Crater?

We've prepared all the equipment needed for the Ijen Crater climb (health certificate, headlamp, gas mask, and ticket). You only need to bring your personal belongings.

When you climb, you'll feel hot due to the activity. However, we recommend bringing a jacket because the temperature at the top of the mountain is around 10 degrees Celsius.

If you decide to visit all the destinations, the estimated time is approximately 2 hours for the ascent, 1 hour for the descent to Blueflame, and 1 hour for the ascent to Sunrise Point. Another 1 hour for the descent to the parking area.
